WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass., March 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/-- Boston Biomedica, Inc. (Nasdaq: BBII) today announced that Michael N. Avallone, CPA has been promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Avallone has served as Corporate Controller of the Company since August 2000. Previously, Mr. Avallone was employed in accounting and finance at NSTAR (formerly Boston Edison) in various capacities for over 20 years, and was a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) prior to joining NSTAR.
